Our jalapeno pepper honey pairs well in marinades, salad dressing, and on chicken delivering a complimentary sweet and spicy flavor in every bite! We've also been told it's great cooking with salmon, or even try it with "epic chicken and waffles!" |

Madi was in town last week and took the time to teach an intro to spinning class! They had such a great time and her student was spinning in no time! We always say to keep your first skein because while it might not seem like perfection, one day you'll look back at it and see just how far you've come!

Got a little surprise today! We weren't sure if Gurdy took to breeding or not this year, but sure enough... these two little ewe lambs are proof enough that she did! She's quite the protective mama and moving them into the barn was a chore in itself, but they are bonding and have already had a morning of adventure for two teenie little lambs!

2023 Blue Mountain Farm Day is here! June 24th 10:00 am - 3:00 pm we will be opening our doors for "ewe" to come see what we are all about! This is a "by ticket" event ...must pre-register...where a farm fresh lunch is served overlooking our sheep grazing in the pasture and our newly planted lavender rows! It is provided to all who attend ($40 / person for the whole day including your lunch). Additionally, we will be offering taste testing of our tasty farm products, hosting a Fiber Mill Tour where you can see how we take raw fibers and process it into fiber products like yarn and roving, provide an informational class on our new fertilizer pellets, see all the buzz with our honeybees and lavender plants, visit our farm store, and see/pet the animals that call Blue Mountain Farms home! The day is sure to be a busy, fun filled day with lots of opportunities to learn and grow your love of agriculture within our community! We look forward to seeing you on the 24th and having the chance to showcase central Pennsylvania agriculture! Sign up on our Classes and Events page in our Farm Store!
